Phifer ShadeScreen - Originally developed by Kaiser Aluminum in 1949, Phifer ShadeScreen is constructed from a solid sheet of aluminum which has been stamped to produce a series of tiny louvers.

These louvers block as much as 87% of the annual solar heat gain.

ShadeScreen is our most effective shading product. It is designed for use where the sun's heat and glare present serious problems and is extremely popular in such hot climates as Arizona and Southern California.

The neutral black finish of ShadeScreen is electro coated for strength and durability and adds a smart look to the exterior and almost any style home or building.

ShadeScreen is also effective on porches and other structures where the sun's heat and glare is intense.
