Returns...

Merchandise returned to out plant will not be accepted unless prior approval is given in advance by a returned goods authorization.

Freight...

Shipped F.O.B., Aluminum Screen Manufacturing Company, Irving, Texas.

Freight Claims...

The signed Bill of Lading covering each shipment is a receipt indicating that the material was picked up complete and in good condition.  At that time, title to the material passes to the truck line.  Claims for damaged materials caused by improper handling of your material by the freight line should follow this procedure:

1. Note on the Bill of Lading at the time the material is received by you.  Have the driver sign the notation.

2. Call local office of delivering freight line for inspection immediately.

3. If any concealed loss or damage is discovered, notify freight line at once and request inspection.  if agent will not make an immediate inspection, make an affidavit that you notified him giving date and person's name you talked with.

4. File claim with delivering truck line, attaching copy of Bill of Lading, copy of invoice and inspection report.
